PureSpelt Chicken Tenders

Chicken Tenders
500 g chicken breast, cut in strips
1 tsp salt
1 tsp curry powder
2 tbsp PureSpelt half white or dark flour (Ruchmehl)
1 egg, lightly beaten
75 g PureSpelt flakes, cut finely
clarified butter (Bratbutter) or canola oil, for frying
Garnish
lemon wedges
flat-leaf parsley

Season the chicken strips. Dip first in flour, then in egg, then in the PureSpelt flakes.

Shortly before serving, fry the chicken tenders in not too hot fat, in batches. Serve with lemon wedges and parsley.
Tips
If desired, serve with sweet chilli sauce, ketchup or herb crème fraîche.
Serve with steamed vegetables or a colourful salad.
